Connections in your communities

Helping you make connections in your community

If you move to a new neighbourhood, we want to help you become connected and find new friends and supports in your community.  These may include cultural connections, neighbourhood groups or access to recreation or children’s services.

There is a lot of diversity amongst our staff and clients, and through this diversity we can also help you find access to meaningful connections with others in your community through volunteering opportunities. You may choose to get involved with a passion project such as a local community garden, sewing or knitting circle, or a community kitchen.

Through our Wardli-ana program, we are able to help people to return to country. Our specialist team connect eligible Aboriginal clients to mob, culture and community, and support them to gain access to opportunities for shared cultural activities, language or practices.

Getting involved in your local community can help you to find new activities, learn new skills and make friends.
