On 1 July 2021, Baptist Care SA began working with Aboriginal women and their children who are experiencing or are vulnerable to domestic, family, and sexual violence through the new pilot program, Marni-Padni – Pukulpay anama, which means Journey safe – Safe journey in both Kaurna and Pitjantjatjara languages.
The weather has started to warm up which can add an additional layer of concern and risks to the health and wellbeing of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
